Interior slip-fit Horizontal Corners for 1/2" (12 mm) or 5/8" (16 mm) thick glassallow for hairline joint assemblies with straight lengths of CRL Cap Rail. Use of our Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement (see page R357) is required to achieve a secure and permanent bond. Two Connector Sleeves are required for use with each corner (see page R331). Each Horizontal Corner is fabricated, finished, and individually packed. All of our stainless and brass corners are fabricated from CRL Premium Cap Rail, and are welded and finished to match. Our aluminum corners are welded for painted finishes only. All anodized finishes utilize a custom fabricated internal splice that creates an architecturally pleasing mitered joint. Standard stainless alloy is 304.
Stainless alloy 316 is available on special order. For brass, alloy 260 is standard. Please contact Technical Sales for more information or a quote.
NOTE: When used with 1/2 inch (12 millimeter) glass, our GR5PV Cap Rail Vinyl and 95CBL Silicone should be used to secure the glass. When used with 5/8 inch (16 millimeter) glass, secure with shims and 95CBL Silicone.
