The CRL Duramix Dual Plunger Cartridge Gun should be used in conjunction with the four different cure rate urethanes, 60-minute CRL5060, 20 minute CRL5020, 5 minute CRL5005 and 3-5 minutes CRL5035 which were created for the different applications you may be working on.
Choose the 60-minute formula for those larger jobs that require some working time for molding installations or for multiple cartridge usage. The 20-minute formulas work great for setting quarter glass or smaller back glass sets. The five minute and 3-5 minute formulas will provide you with quick bonding strength when setting door glass in the channel or brackets, or for remounting body emblems or moldings.
For the best possible installation, we recommend you always follow the CRL Urethane preparation sequence: To remove any contamination on the bonding area of the glass use PWR22 Automotive Glass Cleaner or for remounting body emblems or moldings use CRL2032 General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner on the bonding area. Use CRL5900 Glass Primer for preparing the glass for bonding.
Replacement nozzles CRL5700 can be purchased separately. You will need the CRL Dual Plunger Cartridge Gun CRL5500 for these cartridges.
