The CRL 72 Inch Wide Glass Strip Cutting Machine is ideal for high production cutting of glass into uniform strips as narrow as 1-1/2 inches. They are sometimes purchased in pairs and positioned 90 degrees to each other so glass can be scored in both directions when smaller squares and rectangles are needed. A CRL Ball Caster Table acting as the manually operated pivot transfer device speeds the process. Glass stock sheets are power conveyed under the precision cutting bridge for scoring. The machine can cut glass thickness from single strength (2.5 millimeter) to 1/4 inch (6.4 millimeter).
Conveyor rollers positioned at a 36 inch (915 millimeter) height are urethane covered to prevent glass scratching and to provide long wear. They are powered by a variable speed line shaft drive 115 volt motor.
Precision cutting heads are designed for fast and easy repositioning on the bridge. They offer fine pressure adjustment for working with various glass thicknesses. The oil feed system delivers the fluid to the tungsten carbide cutting wheels. Specify the thickness of glass you will be cutting so this machine is correctly made for you.
