CRL Mirror-Tite Mastic Dots are a new and innovative adhesive system for mirror installations. Easy-to-use, simply remove the dots from the box, apply to the wall, remove the release paper and install the mirror. Mirror-Tite Mastic Dots immediately grab the mirror and substrate. There is no need to wait for the curing times of typical mastics. Mirror-Tite Mastic Dots are primarily designed for bathroom vanity mirrors that do not exceed 36" (914 mm) in height.
CRL Mirror-Tite Mastic Dots should be applied one dot per square foot of wall. If extra thickness is needed to bridge irregularities, simply stack dots to the desired height. A mechanical support system is needed and pressure must be used when setting the mirror. Mastic Dots are black in color.
NOTE: Do not apply on wallpaper or treated woods. Not intended for exterior use. Not for large mirrored walls.Important Notes

Do not apply on wallpaper or treated woods. Not intended for exterior use. Not for large mirrored walls. Read and follow application instructions printed on inside cover of each case.Application Instructions:1. Surface must be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt, and grease. When applying mirror to vertical unpainted plasterboard, concrete or plaster, the surface to be covered must be sealed (Cat. No. GN8). A sealer will add strength to the wall and prevent caustic lime deposits from attacking the mirror backing. Wall and mirror surfaces must be above 40°F (4°C).2. Mastic Dots should be applied one dot per square foot. Install dots on wall. If extra thickness is needed to bridge wall irregularities, simply stack dots to desired height.3. Set mirror using caution. A mechanical support system is needed and pressure must be used when positioning mirror against adhesive dots.4. Painted and primed surfaces should be checked thoroughly. It is recommended to sand the areas through to the base surface where adhesive dots will be applied. Clean the area and seal with a good quality sealer (Cat. No. GN6).5. Mastic Dots can be used on regular copper plated mirror, acrylic mirror, and mirror safety backing (Cat. No. 2MT36). Not for exterior use.6. Mastic Dots will grab instantly and build strength, never becoming brittle or hard. If you should need to remove a mirror, heat surface of mirror to 140°F (60°C), and pull from the wall with suction cups.
