The CRL Universal Pressure Drill is like having a portable drill press that you can carry onto any work site, then set up and start drilling in just minutes. The entire Drill Press consists of four basic components (all included): An Electric Drill Motor with 1/2" (12.7 mm) Chuck, a Telescoping Extension Rod with Floor Base, a Gear Assisted Drill Motor Mounting Bracket, and a Sliding Foot Brace.
The Telescoping Rod has an extension range from 38" to 92" (965 to 2336 mm), and can be used to apply pressure to the drill whenever it has a solid surface to push against, making this an ideal tool for drilling vertically into a ceiling. The Sliding Foot Brace is used when there is a solid surface behind the work area. Slide the brace behind the material to be drilled then the unit operates similar to a C-Clamp pulling the drill into the work.
Typical 1/2" (12.7 mm) drill bits require 210 lbs. of pressure to obtain best results. Thanks to the Universal Pressure Drill's gear driven mounting bracket, it only takes 28 lbs. of force against the lever handle to generate the 210 lbs. of force. Therefore, not only are your bits working at maximum efficiency, they are lasting up to 10 times longer and you are also finishing the job up to 75% faster, with less effort.
