This CRL Automatic Dry Belt Swiping Machine standard 6" x 48" automatic dry belt swiping machine with conveyor, is engineered to seam or swipe the sharp top and bottom edges of all four sides of the glass. Although only one size of glass can be run at a time, the machine is completely adjustable to handle lites from 6" x 48" (152.4 mm x 1.22 m) wide.
The unit has four abrasive belt heads. Each uses a 4" x 84" (102 mm x 2.13 m) long abrasive belt. A tracking mechanism is built into each head, coupled with an air loaded, self compensating take-up. All belts are backed by a contact rubber roller platen, and the belt heads are individually hooded with exit ports for connecting to the optional dust collectors. Conveyor speed is variable at 15' x 45' (45.7 x 137.1 m) per minute. A smaller or larger size Automatic Dry Belt Swiping Machine can be built to order. Optional: Dust Collector Units.
