  • The CRL Petite Series of professional hinges is able to accommodate 1/4 to 5/16 inch (6 to 8 millimeter) tempered safety glass. The Petite 360° Series allows the hinge to swing 180° open to the inside and 180° open to the outside. A variety of three styles, including Wall Mount and Glass-to-Glass types, gives design flexibility and allows the designer/installer to create custom enclosures limited only by their imagination. The Petite Series provides a complete spectrum of hinges for frameless shower doors using 1/4 to 5/16 inch (6 to 8 millimeter) safety glass. Developed to allow virtually every application configuration, Petite Series Hinges deliver design freedom. The Petite Series includes three unique types: the PET044 Wall Mount Flush Back Plate Hinge allows for a clean exterior sight line by having all mounting screws inside the shower; the PET181 Glass-to-Glass Hinge is used to mount a door to a fixed panel in a 180° plane, and allows the door to swing in a complete 180° arc outwards; the PET182 Glass-to-Glass Hinge allows the door to swing in a complete 180° arc inwards. Petite Hinges have mitered edges with curved corners to provide an aesthetically pleasing look. Petite Hinges have 25% thicker plates than competitive hinges, thereby reducing deflection and providing greater holding power.

    Using two hinges with 1/4 or 5/16 inch glass (6 or 8 millimeters) the hinge will hold up to 55 pounds (25 kilograms) with a maximum width of 31 inches (787 millimeters).
