This CRL SBE1 Beveller/Edger/Polisher can be operated manually or with an optional electronically controlled module for remote operation. Beveling and edging can be done without the use of a template. The basic machine edges 20-1/2" to 100" (520 mm to 2.54 m) diameter glass. In the beveling mode, glass from 23-1/2" to 103" (597 mm to 2.62 m) in diameter can be processed. For edging and beveling glass, glass up to 1" (25 mm) thick is not a problem. Bevel range is 3 to 15 degrees. With the small parts table option, glass can be edged as small as 3-1/4" (82.5 mm) diameter, or beveled at 5" (127 mm) diameter.
Other options include an electric pump, overhead rotary union stand, large glass support columns, coolant pump and floor tank with safety grating. Machine operators like the "quick change" wheel hubs that accept peripheral and cup wheels up to 6" (152.4 mm) in diameter. Now, with the SBE1, even small shops have the opportunity to offer competitive beveling, edging and polishing - with just one machine.
