The CRL AMZ1AU 230V AC Production Diamond Drilling Machine drills 3 to 102 mm (1/8" to 4") holes faster and more precisely than any other portable glass drilling machine. In comparison to other machines on the market, drilling a 50.8 mm (2") hole in 6 mm (1/4") mirror can be done in less than ten seconds while using a properly dressed drill bit (tests done under controlled conditions).
It ships ready for use with a grounded plug for use with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device, such as our Cat. No. GF1. It is also loaded with popular features, and durable enough to give you years of dependable service. When purchasing the Drill Machine you should also purchase a Sharpening Stone to dress your Metal Bond Diamond Drills. The stone should be wider than the diameter of the drill being sharpened.NOTE: The AMZ1 Drill needs to be received at our Los Angeles Headquarters (at the customer's expense) before any replacement parts will be distributed. CRL Manufacturing will evaluate the drill at no charge to the customer. This is necessary to assure the proper replacement part(s) are selected due to advanced modifications to the machine over the years. After evaluation the correct part(s) will be identified and the part(s) and drill can be returned via the local service center for assembly by the customer. A price quote is also available for assembly by CRL Manufacturing.
