CRL Latex Foam Seal Weatherstrips are a soft latex foam coated with a tough and durable weather-resistant skin of neoprene and hypalon rubber which provides a superior surface compared to other products. Latex Foam Seals take less of a "set" and are more forgiving than sponge seals. The latex foam composition has long been used in luxury automotive applications due to its superior wind, sound, weather, and dust sealing capabilities. These outstanding characteristics are exhibited in both dynamic and static applications. The flexible dense rubber core can be used as a backing strip for fasteners or run into an existing grooved channel. Latex Foam Seals can be installed with a backing tape. Profiles can be looped and attached or end sealed using CRL 3M8008 Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive.
