Scotch® Super 33+™ vinyl electrical tape is a 7 mil thickness, premium-grade tape that provides electrical insulation for all wires and cable-rated up to 600 V. The flame-retardant tape withstands a temperature range of 0 to 221 deg F. It is compatible with solid dielectric cable insulation, synthetic cable insulations, jackets and splicing compounds. Scotch® Super 33+™ tape is designed for above/below grade, indoor/outdoor, low and high voltage applications and for harnessing cables. This tape offers electrical and mechanical protection with the combination of a pressure sensitive, rubber resin adhesive and elastic, PVC backing. It provides a protective jacket for high voltage cable splices. This electrical tape is highly resistant to UV rays, abrasion, moisture, alkalies, solvents and many acids. UL listed, CSA certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
3M Scotch Super 33+ black insulating tape comes in a 3/4 in width, 20 ft length, uses a rubber adhesive and is packaged 100 rolls per case. Can be used to a maximum temperature of +176 F. One of the unique features of this insulating tape is the elongation capabilities. The 3M Scotch Super 33+ insulating tape can be stretched 250 % for breaking. Provides a tensile strength of 15 lb/in. Many tape products can have either conductive or insulating properties which are used across a variety of applications. This insulating tape is electrically insulating. This product is a single-sided adhesive insulating tape. When purchasing this product, consider the thickness. The variances in thickness often make an important difference in proper performance. This insulating tape has a 7 mil thickness. In addition to the other properties this product is flame retardant. This insulating tape meets the following standards: CSA 2.22, UL 510, ASTM D3005-99 Type:I, CID A-A-55809B.
