Product Overview
The 1/16" x 1-1/8" x 4" EPDM Rubber Setting Blocks are designed for glazing applications to support and cushion glass panels in window and door hardware installations. These setting blocks are constructed from EPDM rubber, which provides resistance to the effects of weather and ultraviolet rays. The blocks measure 1/16" in thickness, 1-1/8" in width, and 4" in length. They are suitable for use in various glazing applications where glass needs to be stabilized against vibration, shock, high and low temperatures, and heavy wind loads. The EPDM rubber composition allows the blocks to be used with Saflex (PVB) interlayer laminated glass. These blocks feature an 80 durometer hardness for structural support. When using these blocks with a silicone sealant, there is a potential for bleed-through of the black color. The finish of these setting blocks is black, and they are intended for use as a resilient cushion for glass in architectural glazing systems.
