Product Overview
This B&K / Southland 563-180HC is a 1/2 inch Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) galvanized steel pipe, 18 inches in length, featuring male-threaded connections. Constructed from carbon steel, it undergoes a hot-dip galvanizing process, applying a zinc coating to both inner and outer surfaces for enhanced corrosion resistance by shielding the steel from oxygen and water. The pipe complies with ASTM A53 specifications, which detail requirements for seamless and welded, black and hot-dipped zinc-coated steel pipes, including chemical and mechanical properties.
