Product Overview

CRL Weld Blocks are manufactured for use with the CRL Heavy Aluminum Base Shoe. When welded to a structurally sound steel beam or angle, they provide an attachment point using our pre-drilled Base Shoes and either our Cat. No. SHCS12X34 Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screws. A favorite technique is to attach the Weld Blocks to the Base Shoe, set it in the proper position, and then weld the Weld Blocks to the beam, angle, or embedment plate. Weld Blocks are made of hot rolled steel with a centered 1/2"-13 tapped hole. Sold in packs of 10.
Product Warning:
When installing weld blocks it is recommended they are welded two of the four sides with a 3/16" minimum fillet weld.
