Product Overview

CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills were designed for a cost-effective method of drilling, and are our most popular and economically priced drill. The sturdy solid steel construction allows quick hole drilling with clean break-outs. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) diameter shank allows for a sure fit into any drill machine. Although diamond plated, this drill may be sharpened one time after it is worn out with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose some of the remaining diamonds to extend its work life.
Always use with a the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results.
Product Warning:
Always wear the proper safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be used when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
