Product Overview
The 1/8" x 1-1/8" x 4" EPDM Rubber Setting Blocks are designed for glazing applications to support and cushion glass panels in window and door frames. Constructed from EPDM rubber, these blocks provide resistance to the effects of weather and ultraviolet rays. They are suitable for use with laminated glass, including those with Saflex (PVB) interlayers. The material composition allows the blocks to remain resilient under various conditions, including exposure to vibration, shock, high and low temperatures, and heavy wind loads. These setting blocks feature an 80 durometer hardness. They are intended for use in window and door installations where glass support is required. The black finish is standard for these components. Please note that when using these blocks with a silicone sealant, there is a potential for bleed-through of color. These blocks are available for various glazing applications where a stable, weather-resistant support is necessary for glass panels.
