This flame-retardant tape is suitable for use in phase identification, color-coding of motor leads and piping systems and for marking safety areas. This tape is 600 V-rated and withstands a temperature range of 14 to 221 deg F. Scotch® tape 35 provides electrical and mechanical protection with the combination of an aggressive, pressure sensitive, rubber resin adhesive and an elastic PVC backing. This tape is flame-retardant and is highly resistant to UV rays, abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acids, solvents and varying weather conditions. It stretches easily and adheres virtually in any shape. Ideal for insulating electrical wires and is compatible with synthetic cable insulations, jackets and splicing compounds. UL listed, VDE, CSA certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
3M Scotch 35 brown insulating tape comes in a 3/4 in width, 66 ft length, uses a rubber adhesive and is packaged 100 rolls per case. Can be used in the following temperature range: +32 F to +221 F. One of the unique features of this insulating tape is the elongation capabilities. The 3M Scotch 35 insulating tape can be stretched 225 % for breaking. Provides a tensile strength of 17 lb/in. Many tape products can have either conductive or insulating properties which are used across a variety of applications. This insulating tape is electrically insulating. This product is a single-sided adhesive insulating tape. When purchasing this product, consider the thickness. The variances in thickness often make an important difference in proper performance. This insulating tape has a 7 mil thickness. In addition to the other properties this product is flame retardant. This insulating tape meets the following standards: CSA 2.22, UL 510, VDE 0340 TEIL-3-1, CID A-A-55809B.
