The ROFU 1404 electric strike is a fail-secure access control device within the 1400/3400 Series, engineered for commercial and institutional applications. It features a reversible, non-handed design and includes an anodized aluminum faceplate measuring 1-7/16 inches by 7-15/16 inches. The faceplate is finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze (US10B), suitable for installation in hollow metal, aluminum, or wood door frames. This electric strike offers a static strength of 1400 lbs (635 kg) and an endurance rating of 500,000 cycles. It has a keeper depth of 5/8 inch, accommodating a maximum latch projection of 3/4 inch with a 1/8 inch door/frame clearance. The ROFU 1404 operates with various voltage options, including 8-16 VAC/3-6 VDC, 12 VAC/VDC, or 24 VAC/VDC, depending on the specific model variant.
