The CRL TP2800 is designed with professional features that will appeal to any glazier who spends 8 hours per day on a cutting table, or to the occasional craftsman cutting a few sheets per week. The balanced solid brass handle and contoured finger grip provide just the right amount of scoring pressure every time. The reservoir filling cap controls oil flow. Tightening the cap seats a valve against the cutter head, cutting off the oil flow. Loosening the cap opens the valve, allowing oil to flow to the cutting wheel.
TP2800 Cutting Heads are mounted in a precision, ball bearing 360 degree swivel housing allowing the head to move when following patterns or performing freehand cuts. For straight edge cutting, housing can be locked in place to eliminate swivel function. Rounded housing reduces drag against straight edges and squares.
Interchangeable Carbide Wheel Cutter Heads are available with four different hone angles to accommodate glass from 3/32" to 1" (2 to 25 mm) thick. Optional Transverse Handle provides added comfort and control.
Product Warning:
Always wear safety glasses around any glass cutting operation.
