Product Overview
The National Guard Products (NGP) 160V Perimeter Seal is designed for surface-mounted application to the stop perimeter of door frames, effectively sealing the top and sides of the door opening. This weatherstrip kit is constructed with a 6063 T5 temper aluminum alloy retainer and features a black Thermo-Plastic Vulcanizate (TPV) bulb seal insert. It is supplied as a set comprising one 36-inch piece and two 84-inch pieces, suitable for a standard 36" x 84" door opening. The aluminum retainer measures 7/8 inches in height, with the TPV insert providing a 5/16 inch projection for a tight seal. Finished in Mill Aluminum, the seal includes slotted screw holes for ease of adjustment during installation, and #6 x 3/4 inch stainless steel sheet metal screws are provided. The 160V is UL Listed to CAN/ULC-S104 and ANSI/UL10B/C for use on fire doors up to 3 hours and is air infiltration tested to ASTM E283, offering protection against smoke, fire, air, and weather.
