The DAP Caulk-Be-Gone Latex Caulk Remover is a green gel formulated to soften and facilitate the removal of most latex-based caulks and sealants. This fast-acting gel works in as little as two hours, allowing for easy clean-up with soap and water after softening. Supplied in a 5.5 fluid ounce (162 mL) tube, this product is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It features an odorless formula and is designed to stay in place where applied. The remover is effective on latex caulks but is not intended for use with silicone, polyurethane, or other non-latex sealants. Users should test on an inconspicuous area and avoid application on soft plastics, vinyl, refinished porcelain, ABS plastic, some fiberglass, and painted or coated surfaces, as it may cause damage.
