Certified to ANSI/BHMA Standard A156.2. Recommended for commercial applications for barrier-free access. When used as a replacement lock only a screwdriver is needed. Non-handed levers meet California Fire Code requirements for maximum 1/2 in. door-to-handle spacing when installed on 1-3/4 in. T doors. Independent lever return springs prevent lever sag.
