Petroleum sorbent mini booms are used to encircle spills and to contain leaks and are a selective sorbent which will sorb hydrocarbon based liquids (oleophilic) and repel aqueous based liquids (hydrophobic). A 3 in Dia scrim on the outside of the boom identifies the use while containing particulate sorbent material. The T-8 mini boom is 8 ft L. Each case contains (6) booms (each 3 in Dia x 8 ft L) which will sorb 2 gal each.
