Product Overview

Use CRL Silicon Carbide Grain for almost any glass drilling need. Most commonly used with CRL Steel and Brass Tube Drills, the abrasive action of the silicon carbide is applied by the rotation of the tube drill. The slots in the drill pick up the grain, which causes the glass to wear. Can be used to drill holes for speak tube applications or outlets. You can also use it on roughing plates for grinding and polishing.
NOTE: Always wear the proper safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device must be used when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
