CRL 24" Rinse Dry Module is the ideal machine for the intermediate rinsing of glass, thin films, and solar panels. It can be used at almost any stage in a manufacturing process. Rinsing is performed by two pairs of top and bottom PVC jet spray pipes, fed by a plant water source. Then a powerful 3 HP (2.25kw) Hi-pressure blower blasts the panel dry, leaving it ready for your next process. The standard conveyor speed is 8 FPM (2.44 MPM). The RDM24 accommodates product from .010" – .250" (0.254 - 6.3 mm) thick. Panel sizes 2"-24" (50.8 -610 mm) wide by 6" (152.4 mm) or longer can be processed. Optional guides available to support products as thin as 0.005" (0.012) thick.
The corrosion resistance of the Rinse Dry module has been enhanced by adding stainless steel to the spray compartment walls, machine frame and roller journals. We also use non-corrosive spray bars. All the conveyor bearings are outside the wet area.
Capacity - Accepts 0.010 to 1/4" (0.25-6.38 mm) panels. The RDM24 has a fixed speed 8 FPM (2.438 mpm) conveyor. Panel sizes 2"-24" (50.8 - 610 mm) wide by 6" (152.4 mm) or longer
Rinse Section - Two pair of Jetted PVC spray bars remove loose debris from the panel. Corrosion resistant design to work well with Plant, DI, and RO water.
Drying Section - Air blast drying system uses pressure blower. It pressurizes plant air and forces it through top and bottom blast tubes to dry both surfaces of the glass. The baffled enclosure covering the blast tubes reduces noise.
Rollers - (precision ground, non-marking) Nitrile solid covered and ring type coverings on stainless steel bodies are used.
Bearings – Standard spherical self-aligning nylon.
Frame - Stainless steel weldment.
Electrical - Control panel, is built to meet OSHA requirements, with a Fusible disconnect. The standard power requirement is 3 phase, 60 cycle, 208/230. 460 volt power and International voltages are available on special order.
Options – Flexible Flyer System to convey films down to 0.005" (0.12 mm). Induction static eliminator.
