This CRL Cutting Frame is the most practical tool for laying out odd shaped or angular shaped patterns, such as trapezoids or parallelograms. The movable cross bar can be slid up the legs, either equally or at an angle. Once the cross bar is in place simply tighten the thumb screws to secure the cross bar into position. Both of the legs have scale graduations to give an accurate position of the crossbar relative to the base. The Cutting Frame also has a pull handle for sliding the frame along the side or edge of a very long piece of glass. When cutting long strips from a sheet of glass, simply set the crossbar to the desired distance from the edge. Hold the cross bar handle in one hand, position your cutter with the other hand, and then slide the entire frame and cutter simultaneously along the length of the cut. Other frame sizes are available by special order.
