The 253 Series Half Saddle Threshold is designed to bridge the gap between offset floors, providing a smooth transition between different floor surfaces. Constructed from aluminum, this threshold features a 3" width and a 1/2" height, making it suitable for various residential and commercial door applications. It includes an integrated channel for connecting thermal keys and is compatible with wood screws for installation. This threshold is fire rated and meets UL 10C positive pressure and UL 4L10 standards. It is also ANSI/BHMA A156.21 and A117.1 certified. The threshold can be custom cut to size, with a maximum length of 185" and a minimum length of 24". It is ADA accessible when butted to a 1/2" offset. The unit comes in a mill finish aluminum, offering a functional aesthetic for door thresholds.
