CRL Stainless Steel Cable provides the connection for the Ceiling Mount Fittings, Floor Base Fittings, and Shelf Brackets. The Cable is cut to the desired length, leaving approximately 4" (100 mm) for adjustment and tensioning purposes. The cut size Cable is then attached to the Floor Base Fitting; secondly, slide onto the Cable the desired number of Shelf Brackets, and lastly, insert the Cable into the Ceiling Mount Fitting and pull tight. Once the shelves are installed, any slack in the Cable can be adjusted at both the ceiling and base fittings.
Product Warning:
WEIGHT LIMITATIONS: When properly installed, each column (4 cables) can bear a total weight of up to 80 lbs. (36kg.). Each shelf can bear a total weight of 20 lbs. (9kg.), when used with CB74, CB76 and CB78 Ceiling Mount Fittings. If CB112 and CB114 Hanger Pipe Base Fittings are properly anchored and used as ceiling attachments, each column (4 cables) can bear a total weight of 40 lbs. (18kg.).
