Product Overview

The Backer EHP Inc. nickel based alloy sheathed water heater available in both low and high watt densities provides a great solution for temporarily operating the water heater in free air (not covered with water) and for longer life when operating with mineral deposits on the sheath. Multiple water heater manufacturers now use this type of alloy sheathed elements as original equipment. Available replacements are the standard square flange, the straight thread screw plug, and the tapered thread screw plug.
