This inexpensive, durable CRL 38-1/2" (978 mm) Phenolic L-Square really does the job when it comes to making accurate cuts. Because it is made of high impact phenolic, it takes a lot of on-the-job punishment without warping, and last a long time. With this precision instrument, you can make fine calibrations for a true square by adjusting the hex head screws so it can always be at a 90 Degree cutting angle.
HELPFUL HINT: To prevent distortion always store your L-Squares in a flat position, not leaning against a vertical surface.
CRL L-Squares are factory adjusted to be square. If the L-Square somehow gets out of adjustment, it should be sent back to CRL Los Angeles for proper adjustment. The Allen Screws are tightened very securely during manufacturing and cannot be loosened by the user without a high chance of stripping out these screws. Please contact CRL Product Management with questions regarding this notice. All CRL Squares and Rules are checked to be within +/- 1/16". They should always be stored in a flat position, not leaning against a wall, to prevent distortion. You only have 30 days from date of shipment to notify CRL of any manufacturing defects to qualify for any warranty replacement or credit.
