It offers both good oil resistance and good heat-resistance and is commonly used for bonding most rubber and gasket materials. 3M™ nitrile high performance rubber and gasket adhesive 847 is one of our most versatile solvent based adhesives for rubber and gaskets. This adhesive bonds neoprene, reclaimed, nitrile rubber (BUNA), SBR and butyl rubbers to metal, wood and numerous plastics. It provides excellent heat and water-resistance, performing in temperatures up to 300 deg F. 3M™ nitrile high performance rubber and gasket adhesive 847 dries quickly and offers an open bonding range of up to 15 min, allowing time for positioning and adjustments without slowing down work processes. 3M™ nitrile high performance rubber and gasket adhesive 847 is a premium quality, multi-purpose adhesive that develops strong flexible bonds.
3M 847 brown High Performance rubber & gasket adhesive is compatible with leather, plastic and rubber materials with a 2 hr cure time. Delivers great performance with a shear strength of 200 psi and peel strength of 40 piw. Minimum operating temperature is +64.4 F. Comes in a 5 oz Tube.
