3M™ semi-rigid plastic repair effectively repairs both one-sided and two-sided damage on a variety of automotive plastic-components. This adhesive is commonly used for backside reinforcement repair, as well as general bonding. We recommend our high performance, two-component urethane adhesive for repairing damaged bumpers and re-building tabs. From reinforcing the backside of bumpers to re-building tabs, 3M™ semi-rigid plastic repair is a specially formulated urethane adhesive that will create a strong, lasting-lasting repair. Our product is an excellent choice for bonding, back-side reinforcing and cosmetic filling of plastic parts because of its extremely fast work time and strength. We formulated our product to offer strong adhesion over a range of temperatures. It's also highly effective for bonding dissimilar material s such as plastic, fiberglass and metal.
Composition:
30 to 60% Castor Oil, Polymer with 1,1'-Methylenebis[4-Isocyanatobenzene], 30 to 60% P,P'-Methylenebis(Phenyl Isocyanate), <20% 4,4'-Diisocyanatodiphenylmethane Polymer, 1 to 5% Oxirane, Methyl-, Polymer with Oxirane, Ether with 1,2 3-Propanetriol (3:1), Polymer with 1,1'-Methylenebis[4-Isocyantobenzene], 0.1 to 1% Carbon Black, 0.01 to 0.3% Chromium Compound 1, 0.01 to 0.1% Chromium Compound 3, <0.02% Chromium (Part A)/40 to 70% Polyether Polyol, 10 to 30% Propoxylated Trimethylolpropane, 10 to 30% Tetrakis(2-Hydroxypropyl)Ethylenediamine, <3% M-Xylene-Alpha, Alpha'-Diamine (Part B)
