Additionally, 3M Finesse-it Foam Buffing Pads are equipped with the 3M Hookit Attachment System, which holds the pad securely during use while providing quick pad change-outs to maximize tool uptime. 3M Finesse-it Buffing Pads are available in wool, felt, and foam, offering unique performance traits and benefits depending on your application needs. Wool pads are best paired with rotary-type buffing tools, as they are more aggressive and easier to control when compared to foam pads. This is thanks to their greater available cutting surface, made up of thousands of fibers that deliver fast cutting action. Wool fibers also hold the polish to provide an even distribution of material, requiring less pressure from the operator to use when taking on projects such as removing sanding scratches.
