Product Overview
3M™ rear view mirror adhesive permanently bonds the rear view mirror bracket to windshields. Our two-part structural acrylic adhesive is specially formulated to bond two non-porous materials together. A specialty adhesive is recommended for rear view mirror installations because of the critical nature of the application. Rear view mirrors exist in an environment with challenging conditions that exceed the capacity of many adhesives. Resistant to moisture, chemicals, vibration and impact. Simple application procedure, easy to apply. 3M™ rear view mirror adhesive is perfect for installing new mirrors or ones that broke-free from the windshield. This product is commonly used by windshield replacement and automotive restoration professionals.
Composition:
30 to 60% Aliphatic Urethane Acrylate Resin, 10 to 30% Bisphenol A Polyethylene Glycol Diether Dimethacrylate, 7 to 20% Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate, 7 to 15% 1,6-Hexanediol Diacrylate, 7 to 13% Isobornyl (Adhesive), 0.1 to 1% 3-Trimethoxysilyl Propyl Glycidyl Ether, 0.1 to 1% Cumene Hydroperoxide, 0.1 to 1% Saccharin, 0.1 to 1% 1-Acetyl-2-Phenylhydrazine (Adhesive) /60 to 100% Isopropyl Alcohol, 1 to 5% Stoddard Solvent, <1% Carboxylic Acids, C3-10, Copper(1+) Salts, oxidized, <1% Organo Copper Compound, <1% Neodecanoic Acid, Copper(2+) Salt (Primer)
3M 08752 clear two-part methacrylate adhesive. Delivers great performance with tensile strength of 500 psi. Minimum to maximum operating temperatures are -130 F to +230 F. Comes in a 0.04 oz Tube. This methacrylate adhesive is packaged 0.02 oz (Adhesive) & 0.02 oz (Primer) per inner, 12 per case.
