Replacement Cartridge for 6000, 6500QL and 7500 Series
The 3M 6006 Multi-Gas/Vapor Cartridge is a NIOSH-approved respiratory filter designed to provide protection against a broad range of gases and vapors, including organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, methylamine, formaldehyde, and hydrogen fluoride. It uses a carbon-based filtration system to adsorb contaminants from the air, helping ensure safer breathing in hazardous environments. The cartridge is suitable for use with compatible 3M reusable half and full facepiece respirators and can provide protection up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) with half masks and up to 50 times PEL with full facepieces when properly fitted.
Designed with a lightweight, low-profile, swept-back shape, the 6006 cartridge improves field of vision and user comfort while maintaining low breathing resistance. Its bayonet-style connection allows quick and secure installation on a wide range of 3M respirators, making it a versatile solution across multiple industries such as chemical processing, manufacturing, mining, and maintenance. This multi-gas capability helps reduce inventory needs by covering various applications with a single cartridge type.
