The CRL Jackson® 2085 is a Grade 1 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device for use with narrow, medium and wide stile aluminum and hollow metal doors. It has a secure two point latching system with a top latch and bottom bolt and is noted for its remarkably quiet, smooth, reliable operation. It comes standard with a 301311 rocker-type latch and is available with a pullman-type latch, item 302775.
The panic can be sized down to an overall length of 30" and when used with the 301347 or 301348 rod extenders, is suitable for 8' or 9' tall doors. For outside entry, use a 1" mortise cylinder with an MS type cam such as the DL2170SCKD and the 30821J mortise cylinder mounting pad. For the cylinder dogging, use a 1-1/8" cylinder with a removable cam that has a standard "cross" hole pattern. The proper cam is supplied with the device.
