Product Overview
This double acting spring hinge is designed for doors that require controlled two way swinging operation. The hinge measures 5" and features a full surface mounting design that attaches directly to the face of the door and frame. The double acting mechanism allows the door to swing in both directions while the adjustable spring tension helps return the door to a closed position after use. Constructed for heavy duty applications, the hinge is designed to support frequent door movement in environments where reliable closing control is required. The non handed design allows the hinge to be installed on either left or right swing doors, providing flexibility during installation. The hinge is designed for use on doors with standard hinge edges and is not intended for doors with beveled hinge edges. A prime coat finish is applied to the hinge surface to provide a protective base coating. For proper installation and performance, three hinges are typically used per door to help distribute weight and maintain stable operation in swinging door systems.
