CRL's 700A Series Door Louvers have a two-piece design for wood or metal doors with a minimum thickness of 1-3/8" (35 mm). Constructed from 18 gauge CRS, 700A Series Louvers have a minimum frame size of 6" x 4" (152 x 102 mm) and a maximum size of 48" x 80" (1.22 x 2.03 m). The two rows of inverted 'Y' blades are spaced at 1" (25 mm) intervals and attached by interlocking construction to the 3/4" (19 mm) deep welded frame that is screwed into the door on both sides. Custom sizes and finishes are also available.
CRL 700A Series Door Louvers can have a variety of screen wires placed underneath of either panel to prevent unwanted pests from entering through the Louvers. Common 18 x 16 mesh aluminum screen wire is recommended to keep out small insects. These are available only on special order.
