Now, you can easily remove details without having to prep the workpiece with heat tools or messy spray and gel compounds. The disc will not gouge, mar or dent non-heat-sensitive surfaces that lie beneath the decals, which is why it is often used on non-heat-sensitive gel coats, acrylic enamels and urethane paints. MOS for this disc is 4000 rpm, allowing it to be used with various tools, including slow speed grinders or portable drills. Scotch-Brite™ molding adhesive and stripe removal disc is roughly an inch thickness and as a solid molded product is dense, durable and long-lasting. The narrow width lends itself to removing small straight lines, such as pin stripping.
