PEMKO FULL SURFACE HINGES FEATURES
Standard Duty Anodized Aluminum Continuous Geared
- Designed mainly for retrofit work
- Applied to the exposed surfaces of the door and frame
- Available in heavy duty models
- Standard duty hinge: 6" bearing spacing
- Special hinge reinforcements are not required. Hollow metal door and frame manufacturer's standard is acceptable. Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised.
- Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.26-2017, Grade 1-300
- Tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (USA and Canada) to UL10C
- Certified up to a 3-Hour A-Label fire listing for all 4 ft 0" x 10 ft 0" (single) and 8 ft 0" x 10 ft 0" (pair) door and frame assemblies. Special FirePins required on 3-hour (A-label) assemblies.
- Fire listing certifications apply to all approved hollow metal and wood door assemblies in drywall on masonry construction - Some door and frame conditions may require an extra 1/32" - 1/16" of clearance. Excessive clearance on fire-rated assemblies may violate the requirements for NFPA 80.
Fasteners, Frame:
- 12-24 x 11/16" Pan Head, self-drilling, self-tapping - 6 required per door leaf;
- 1/4-20 x 1-5/8".Thru-Bolt & 1/4-20 x 1" Shoulder Bolt - 4 required per door leaf.
Fasteners, Door:
- 12-24 x 7/16" FHUC, Type C threadforming, no tapping requiredNo extra tools needed for assembly;
- 10 fasteners required per frame leaf
