Product Overview
The ROFU 8406M 8400 Series mini sliding door magnetic lock is a compact, fail-safe electromagnet designed for securing sliding or swinging, manual or automatic doors. Constructed with steel housing, this mortise-mount maglock provides a holding force of 600 lb (272 kg). It operates on a dual voltage input of 12V DC or 24V DC, drawing 500 mA at 12V DC and 250 mA at 24V DC. Its fail-safe operation ensures the lock releases instantly when power is disconnected. The magnet mortises into the door jamb, while the armature plate mortises into the edge of the door, and versatile mounting brackets are included for installation. It features an anti-residual magnetism design. The magnet measures 7-1/2" L x 1-1/2" W x 1-1/8" D, and the armature measures 7-1/4" L x 1-1/2" W x 1/2" D.
