The CRL Snow Cut-Off Gauge mounts to the front of most standard saw tables. The stop fence can be easily moved back and forth to measure lengths from 0" to 108" (2.75 m). This is done while standing directly in front of the saw and lifting the slide bar, which disengages the cam locks, allowing the slide bar to be moved to the desired position. The long slide angle bar has a tape measure attached, and works with an indicator plate, which you attach to the table. Just move the slide bar until the indicator shows the correct run-out distance, allow the slide bar to fall back into the locked position and you are ready to cut. The gauge is made from heavy steel angles and brackets to give a lifetime of reliable service.
Minimum table width required is 18' (5.5 m). Most table designs first require a 2 x 4 wood stud to be mounted to the front of your existing table. Once this is done mount the brackets and then attach the support angle. The slide bar requires some very simple assembly and is then easily placed on top of the support angle. The stop fence is approximately 12" (305 mm) deep. The slide angle bar and stop fence can be easily lifted off of the support angle and set aside if you need the complete use of the saw table without the fence stop.
