ACR Electronics GlobalFix V6 EPIRB Survival Kit for Boats The ACR GlobalFix V6 EPIRB Survival Kit for Boats is a complete and highly advanced safety package designed to provide maximum protection in marine emergencies. Built for offshore sailors, dedicated anglers, and adventurous cruisers, this kit combines the latest distress alert technology with essential survival tools to help ensure you and your crew are prepared for any situation at sea. At the core of the kit is the GlobalFix V6 RLS EPIRB, which uses 406 MHz satellite communication to send your distress signal to the worldwide Cospas-Sarsat rescue network. Integrated AIS capability alerts nearby AIS-equipped vessels for faster local response, while Return Link Service (RLS) confirms visually that rescue authorities have received your emergency alert. The beacon s 121.5 MHz homing signal helps search teams pinpoint your location once they are in range, and its high-intensity visible and infrared strobes improve detection in darkness, fog, or other low-visibility conditions. The survival kit also includes the buoyant RapidDitch Express Bag, which can float up to 15 pounds of gear, keeping critical supplies dry and accessible. Additional safety accessories include a signal mirror for daylight signaling, a whistle for close-range sound alerts, C-Strobe emergency lights for improved night visibility, and the HemiLight 3 water-activated life jacket light to aid rescuers in spotting you in the water.
