The aluminum door closer comes with regular and heavy-duty arms, brackets, and options to make it adaptable to any situation. With more than 25 million cycles, it is built to last. This non-handed door closer uses a rack-and-pinion design and a cast aluminum body to ensure a smooth operation. It has staked valves and standard, separate and independent, latch, sweep, and backcheck intensity valves. The door closer comes with a 30-year limited warranty and is available with a molded plastic cover or as a corrosion-resistant model (non-hold open only). The 1600 Series door closer has a 2-7/8" (73mm) projection and a 1-3/8" (35mm) diameter piston. The 5/8" (16mm) diameter pinion journals make it easy to install using tri-style packaging. This Norton door closer is compatible with regular arm, top jamb, and parallel arm mounting and makes a reliable, long-lasting choice that provides peace of mind for any commercial property owner.
