The AIRCAT 1178-VXL-2 VIBROTHERM DRIVE impact wrench is a 1/2-inch drive pneumatic tool engineered for fastening and loosening applications requiring high torque. It provides 950 ft-lb of maximum torque and 1,300 ft-lb of loosening torque. Featuring a patented VIBROTHERM DRIVE impact mechanism, this wrench reduces vibration levels by 30-40% and increases mechanism life by 50%. The tool also incorporates a patented muffler system that results in low noise levels, rated at 86 dBA, and a patented ergonomic grip for operator comfort. Constructed with a composite housing, this model includes a 2-inch extended anvil and features a 1/4 inch NPT air inlet with a recommended 3/8 inch hose size.
