Product Overview
The Airmar Technologies P79-BL is a dual-frequency, depth-only, in-hull transducer designed for marine applications. It operates at 50 kHz with a 45° beamwidth, providing depth performance up to 305 meters (1000 feet), and at 200 kHz with a 12° beamwidth for depths up to 183 meters (600 feet), with a 600W RMS power rating. This transducer features a urethane housing and a plastic mounting base that adjusts to hull deadrise angles up to 22 degrees, ensuring optimal signal returns. It installs without drilling through the hull, utilizing a non-toxic antifreeze-filled base for efficient signal transmission through solid fiberglass. The P79-BL is suitable for smaller boats up to 8 meters (26 feet) with solid fiberglass hulls and is equipped with a Navico BL 7-pin blue connector for compatibility with Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G system
