Product Overview
SS175 Low Chirp, 1kW, 0 degree Tilted Element , Raymarine 11-Pin, DT 1 kW Airmar s low-profile, Chirp-ready, transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low-frequency band, operating between 40 and 60 kHz, is a deep-water performer, giving excellent coverage and tracking. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation. Tilted Element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at a 20 degree, 12 degree, or 0 degree angle within the housing. When the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt of the element corrects for the hull deadrise, orienting the beam directly down. This ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer for more accurate depth readings. The SS175L is available in three Tilted Element models: Fixed 20 degree tilted version for 16 to 24 degree hull deadrise angles Fixed 12 degree tilted version for 8 to 15 degree hull deadrise angles Fixed 0 degree tilted version for 0 to 7 degree hull deadrise angles
