The Airmar Technologies SS175MW (MPN: SS175C-0-MW-0) is a stainless steel broadband CHIRP (Compressed High-Intensity Radiated Pulse) tilted element thru-hull transducer, operating at a medium frequency range of 60-100 kHz. This 1 kW transducer provides an ultra-wide beamwidth from 57-73 degrees port-to-starboard and 16 degrees fore-to-aft, capable of tracking depths up to 400 meters (1,300 feet). Its tilted element design features a ceramic element fixed at a 0, 12, or 20-degree angle to correct for hull deadrise (0-7, 8-15, or 16-24 degrees respectively), ensuring optimal vertical orientation for maximum echo returns. It measures approximately 2.7 kg (6 lb), requires a 95 mm (3-3/4") hole for installation, and includes a 9-meter (30-foot) cable, delivered without a connector. Designed for use on all hull materials, it provides depth and fast-response water temperature sensing, making it suitable for targeting both pelagic and deeper species.
