Product Overview
The Airmar SS505 thru-hull transducer provides dual-frequency (50/200 kHz) depth and temperature sensing for marine navigation and fishfinding systems. Constructed with a compact, impact-resistant stainless steel housing, it features a 600W RMS power rating and a conventional beam angle of 45°/12°. This transducer is designed for all hull materials, including planing and displacement hull powerboats 9m (30') and above. It requires a 22mm (7") hull hole for installation and is compatible with Raymarine A-type (9-pin) systems. For optimal performance, Airmar high-performance fairings are recommended. The unit can achieve depth readings up to 353m (1200') at 50 kHz and 206m (700') at 200 kHz.
