Product Overview
The Airmar ST950 is a high-performance thru-hull speed and temperature sensor designed for marine vessels. It features a Gen2 Paddlewheel that provides accurate speed reporting from 0.3 to 45 knots, with smooth output. This specific model includes a bronze housing and a 15-meter (49-foot) cable, suitable for various hull types. The low-profile design minimizes drag, extending only 5 mm (3/16") outside the hull. It incorporates a retractable insert with a valve assembly to reduce water ingress when the sensor is removed for maintenance. The sensor provides analog output and retrofits into Airmar P17 and B17 housings. Water temperature accuracy is ±0.5°C (±1.8°F) across a range of -10° to 40°C (14° to 104°F). It requires a ") hole for installation.
